Dr. Khaled Alhazmi
Dr. Alhazmi is currently the director of the National Center for Robotics and Internet of Things Technology at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). Dr. Alhazmi was the director of the Technology Transfer Office at the Communication and Information Technology Research Institute (CITRI) at KACST. Dr. Alhazmi is part of the ICT sector strategic innovation programs development team at KACST. Dr. Alhazmi is an experienced researcher with more than 13 years of experience in designing and executing IT and emerging technologies-related projects backed by strong educational background with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Engineering Science both from Western University, Canada focused on Software and Computer Engineering. Dr. Alhazmi leads many national R&D projects related to areas of IoT, IIoT, vision analytics, AI-Based video analytics, operational analytics, Data Visualization, cloud computing, virtualization, cloud computing optimization management and service provisioning, green computing, distributed systems, software defined networking, NFV, software engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning.
